Health Monitoring Smart Mirror
|

# Project Description

The design concepts for this project include being able to integrate personal health devices and data
|
|
with a smart mirror. This data can then be manipulated and displayed on a smart mirror display. This
|
|
type of data could range from sleeping data, physical health tracking such as steps, and so forth.
|
|
The mirror also should be able to support interactions via touch and/ or voice control to get better
|
|
insight to health overviews and/ or modify settings.
|

# Justification
|
|
Currently there are a number of health apps that display your health information or personal health devices
|
|
that connect with apps to display information. We're taking this design and modifying it to work with a
|
|
smart mirror so users can look at their health stats in a more thorough overview. Likewise, since there is
|
|
a wide variety of health information that can be displayed, it may be possible to manipulate and process
|
|
that data to provide further insight to someones health. The specifics of this have not been discussed though
|
|
as more details are required. Further applications also include integrating this with actual medical devices
|
|
in hospitals or other health facilities.
